What Would You Do to Snag a Mate?

As you already know, I have this thing about reality television. I have a complete fascination obsession with it. I am a true voyeur and the trashier the show, the more I love it. The object of my affection (though I am ashamed to admit it) for this week is Flavor of Love.

While I did not see the entire run of the show, I did happen to catch a couple of episodes from the last two months. Okay, now I won't even comment on the main character bachelor Flavor Flav. I will comment on the women vying for his love and the ridiculous ways in which they try to bag their man.

In addition to the backstabbing, fighting, and weekly beating the crap out of one another, the show taps into something real - Why is it that women do ridiculous things in the name of love - or lust - or just plain competition? Is any guy (let alone one on a reality show) really worth the explicit and public booty-shaking, girlfights, one-night stands, and the like? Is it all in the name of celebrity or are women that desperate to be part of a couple?

What have you done to get your man? Or woman? Is sisterhood really dead? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

The Sisterhood isn't totally dead---just taking a beating now with a bunch of women putting themselves ahead of what's true. Sure, we hear the horror stories, but there are also amazing stories of women empowering women, women helping women and women protecting the rules of the Sisterhood even though it might cause them distress.

I feel that if every woman made a pact with herself and friends that she would always be there for them, never put a guy ahead of them and always have her sister's back--the Sisterhood lives on.

As for snagging a mate...I think I've got that covered;)
