Blonde on Blonde...Sort of

Call it fraternizing with the enemy, but I did happen to do a live segment for Fox News last night. I have done this before, and quite frankly, I love a good debate as it really gets my juices flowing. But never would I have expected that on a random Tuesday evening, I would run into the she-devil herself, Ann Coulter.

While waiting to go into the hair and makeup chair, I sat in the Fox News greenroom with a cup of water, watching the live feed of their current program, The Big Story with John Gibson. I was there to talk about a study proclaiming that women talk three times more than men (I know, big deal). Though that is not typically what I speak about, I had told the producers that I would be happy to talk about the implications this has for relationships. (FYI: I didn't get any questions about relationships). Needless to say it wasn't a riveting debate compared to the last time I was on discussing why clergy should support cohabition (or "living in sin").

But I digress. A hairdryer was buzzing in the background (though I have never really heard of someone using the hair and makeup people on a show for a blowout). I was listening to Fox's version of "Fair and Balanced" news. Then the hairdryer stopped and into my room walked Ann Coulter - my intellectual and political archrival (though she doesn't know it).

Considering she would never (yes I say this sarcastically) use her sexuality to propel her career, she ran by me in a crop sweater, jeans, full makeup, and long (newly blown) blonde hair. I never even had a chance to speak to confront her. Instead, she proceeded to do a segment on Columbia University's supposed sex classes (and why wasn't that the issue I was supposed to talk about????) where she talked about how creepy this all was and said that our (she didn't even need to say "liberal") views about sexuality are due to the breakdown of the two parent family. WTF?

I think that you could probably guess what my response would be, right? What about you? Ann Coulter - marketing genius or insidious she-devil?

There are few people in the world more detestable than Ann Coulter. I'd like to see her in a debate NOT moderated by Fox News. She'd lose, and badly.
